Wind Waker, where are you?

I don't know if its just a regional thing but wind waker is no longer been sold in stores here! My ex ran off with all my games and I have been slowly (oh so slowly) buying them all again. I go into a few local stores here and am told the same thing: wind waker is no longer being produced or shipped. Is this for reals? It isn't even that old. I'm so very sad if this is true. :( A few game store employees have told me its because of the release of twilight princess. Is this true? Does anyone know? I really don't want to spend $50 on ebay for a used copy of a game that isn't even 5 years old.

(I'd spend $50 for a new copy)

Wow, I would think a guy would be able to respect a gaming girl's habit. He deserves a good kick in the crotch for that one. I can't recall seeing new copes of Windwaker where I live, but I know I've seen used ones at Game Stop. I hate to recomend someone to Game Stop after they screwed me over with my 360(one of the employees switched a core system with a package system and all the stuff was open and missing the headset,

) but that may be the only way to get one, if they're around where you live.

Sounds pretty stupid to me.

Maybe you can find it in a bargain bin. Not that I believe gold in a case like Wind Waker should be confined to a bin.

I think its silly too. Understandable since the new system is out so why would they make games for the old system...but still silly.

I've called every game store in my town and no one has used or new copies and every guy I get on the phone repeats my question like I just asked for the world on a platter. lol. I didn't know WW was so popular of a game even now.

yeah rollo is right its because they didnt sell as much gamecubes. but at least windwaker got "players choice" on the latest versions of the game. i still get them here though.

I got the Wind Waker on its release date I believe.

This could be why:

Gold. It's ****ing gold. The one I have looks better in person, but that's essentially what it looks like.

The store near me has brand new copies of the game. if you have a US gamecube, or a swapmagic of sorts, i can get you a copy if you pay me for it.
