| | | My Reveiw Of Twilight Princess (GCN) Hi guys!
As you can see,I'm a fan of wolves and everything like wolves...As you can tell by my name and avatar,So I figured I just had to pick up Twilight Princess...I was right and wrong. Systems Available On:Nintendo Gamecube,Nintendo Wii Rated:Teen
Here are some of the pros and cons I thought of when I finished playing this game. Pros: -That the graphics were very detailed,Considering it was a Gamecube game...I ♥ the way the the water looked very realistic. It was one of the best looking GCN games I have played before.
-The fact that you were given more freedom to move around Hyrule to search for Poes,Hearts and Golden Bugs..I liked the fact the Hyrule was the biggest yet.
-That you could,When you reach a certain point in the game,Turn into a wolf at will,Making it easier to find hidden objects then when you are in the Twilight realm.
-That you had easy acess to Epona throughout the game just in case you wanted a change of pace from the 1,2,3, warp option & It also allowed you to travel to and from places that you couldn't warp to much faster then you could in wolf form.
These are just some of the Pros of Twilight Princess. Cons:
-One of the most obvious flaws was that they split Hyrule Field up into two different sections,Obviously it was because of how much the Gamecube could store but what puzzled me was why they didn't change the field slightly in the Wii version because the Wii can handle more.
-That they did gave you Epona too easily,I'm contradicting myself here but even I have to admit I would have prefered more of a challenge when It came to getting Epona ready to ride.
-Most of the enemies looked amazing and difficult to defeat,Which had me running to my TP Guide but unfortunatley I didn't need it...Even the Stalkos and Darkhammer weren't hard to dispatch,Much to my dislike,I prefer a challenge.
-I found the dungeon's bosses fun to fight but the dungeons they were in weren't very hard to get through at all,There was no backtracking to look for newly unlocked keys and items and there were not many upstairs or downstairs levels to add any challenge...Which usually is a main component in the TLOZ series. People This Game "Is For":
This game is pretty much for people who have some time on their hands because between beating a dungeon, collecting hearts and rupees and killing poes...It can take more then 50 hours if you like to make sure everythings complete.I would definitley rate this game a 9/10 and recommend it to anybody who has ever played Ocarina of Time,Okami or Castlevania.
Thanks for reading! ☻

| | | I don't see how you can miss backtracking, backtracking sucks. I found the temples and challenges hard enough keep me interested (less so for the water temple though) but easy enough not to get frustrated. Save backtracking for Metroid idd, as HH said. |

| I guess it depends on who's playing but I prefer a hard challenge because usually I go through games really quickly if they are RPG/Adventure games. |

| | | Wind Waker is definitely one of my favourite TLOZ games of all time, I enjoyed it immensely. The sailing was some of the biggest fun, and the other things you could do was much different to the general side-quests which are so similar in every game, find the heart pieces, kill the poes etc. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Ventriloquist For This Useful Post: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
