It was obvious Ilia had feelings for him- canon, even. It's also canon that he wanted to become the next mayor of Ordon, so I'm sure a future with Ilia had crossed his mind before his role in TP's story ever took place. But... after becoming a hero- a totally changed person- I think he'd probably need time to do some soul searching before he could focus on a girl. Perhaps he'll stumble upon a sweet young lady if he ventures off to other lands? ;3
