Did you want voice acting?

Hi everyone! I'm new to the board, but not to Zelda! I've been a fan for years, since I first layed my hands on Link's Awakening. Since then, I haven't let go of the series!

My question to all you guys is, did you want voice acting in Twilight Princess? I didn't, well I would prefer if they spoke gibberish (like Midna), but not actual english. Let me know, because I'm interested in your opinions!

It would have been nice in my opinion if they had added voices to lots of characters.

A game doesn't need voice acting. If the developers want voice acting in a game, that's fine. All I would ask is that they avoid really irritating voice acting, like the shopkeeper in Star Fox Adventures.

To me, it would probably not feel like Zelda anymore once the characters actually start talking. And the gibberish would indeed feel too much like Sims, or Mario Sunshine (the guys with the palmtrees on their head? they're silly).
Also, once everyone starts to talk in a language you can actually hear, Link will only sound more retarded when all he can do is scream.

I liked the way MM was, with many characters making sounds as you talk to them, giving them some kind of voice. Which was obviously also the case in TP, but in MM it was new (as opposed to the fairly silent OoT).

Nooooo. I hope they never do it. They would probably slap an american accent on Link and I don't think that's right.

I think this would only work if they gave most of the characters a voice. Except for Link of course.

Link needs to stay The Silent Adventurer that can only scream. =)

I didn't like the fact Midna was the only voice Character though. Midna was a brilliant character, but sometimes, it looked as though she was talking to herself! Besides Ganon, Zelda and Zant, the rest of the characters had a buzzing noise when their words came up on screen, which was really irritating!

Link should not talk because he is the link between the player and the game (from Miyamoto himself.) I think most of you guys know that, but I was just putting it out there. Ganon technicly should not speak (embodiment of evil and all), but it would have cool.
