She wouldn't let me put tape on her, and then she didn't want the wet leather on her, so since we both have the same sized head, I used my own. The rest of it, however, will have to be patterned off of her because we are not the same size or height. I might be able to use my own feet for the boots though, as I think we are pretty close in size there. The problem is that she's a kid, and while she may want to have this costume to wear, she really doesn't want to be bothered with having it fitted to her. If she doesn't want to take the time to allow me to make a pattern off of her measurements, I may have to make a generic pattern in the clothes size she normally wears. That shouldn't be a big deal though, as I a sure I can buy some sort of pattern that can be modified.

I got the ear pieces riveted on today. Still more to do, but I probably won't be able to get much done on it this weekend. I don't have what I need, and I don't know if I will have time to get to it.

Here's some pics.

This is quite possibly the coolest cosplay idea ever. Let it be known this was the original and the coolest of all possible Zora Armor cosplayers.

Thanks so much guys. :)

What is "cosplay"? I've seen that term a couple of times and I don't know what it is.

I don't really have much of a progress update, but I did get to the fabric store today and I've got my first prototype hood pattern cut out. I'm going to use some scrap material to make the first hood prototype, so hopefully that won't need alot of modification.

This costume is going to get pricey real quick. I spent $30 today at the fabric store and that was just for the supplies to make the hood. It will cost me at least twice that to get the stuff to make the scale vest and the tunic that goes under it. Plus, I'm not even counting the cost of the leather since I already had that, but I estimate that to be about $25 worth of leather and dye. I may have to make another helmet and sell it on Ebay to help cover the costs of the rest or there may not be a "rest". Somehow, I doubt it would sell though. We will see how it goes I guess.

If you put it up in ebay, I would definitely buy one.
