Alright, so basically the twilight is shadow world. But here is the thing, no one could get out of the twilight into the world of light. Ganon was banished to the Realm of twilight. So how did all of these things start happening in the world of light when there wasnt a way to get through? Apparently the only way for the portal from light to shadow to be opened was only from Hyrules side, and all evil (or so we shall call it) was on the other side. What was the extra link that allowed them to get back into the world of light without the mirror. It couldn't have just been gannon himself?

hmm, I'm not sure. I haven't beaten the game yet.
