When do you get the magic meter?

So I'm about to go to the forest temple to get the third mirror shard. I still have not gotten a magic meter and I'm wondering when you will get it. I saw that on the back of the box on one of the pics you have a magic meter. Is magic used in the way it was in OOT? Where you got some powers like Dens fire and stuff. Or is it like TWW where you just used it for fire arrows? I'm just curious thats all.

There is no magic meter in twilight princess. So sorry

In the other games, magic meters only appeared when you obtained an item that used magic power.

well... thats strange, i already beaten the game but theres no items that use magic power so indeed there is no magic meter, but!! youre right in one of the images on the back of the there is something like a magic meter and there is no sign of the lantern.. so its something to check dont you think, eh guys?

maybe it was when you were underwater...there is a meter that shows how much air you have left.

Hmm, on zelda.com, in the TP screenshots section, they have a green bar as well, and they always look half full.

Perhaps there was meant to be one and they got rid of it?

no idea what it could be...s\you were right mrfinke it wasn't the water guage. I guess we will find out when we get there!!!

If you look at those pictures on Zelda Universe close enough...it shows the same amount of magic every time...and 64 ruppees every time...and the items are the bow and the boomerang every time...so i think they just put the magic bar in those pictures to show what could of been...but i havn't played the game so idk...
