Is there any point in the giant stone at the bottom of the lake at the top of Zora's domain? I completed the game and nothing was ever mentioned, but why did they put that in?

I was wondering the same thing. I didn't try the bomb thing cause I was out of underwater bombs at the time, but I thought it'd be a piece of heart or something.
