Help Wii Controller

ok, my WII remote does not work wiht pointing on the WII, like i have to plug in the classic controller to pick whatever i want to do, and i cant aim the controller to things. This means i can not do a MII or w/e, and when i am playing zelda, i can not shoot with the controller, i have to aim wiht the joy stick, i have tried going into options and aligning my controller but only one dot shows up constantly, and when i try to align it in Zelda the blue pointer thing just stays in one place. WHAT do i do???

Well, I have a Wii but I haven't tried it out yet. So you tried syncing it to the console by pushing those 2 red buttons. One on the remote and the other on the system? The remote with the system should have already been in-sync when you bought it, but maybe for some reason it didn't ship out that way? Or, you might have a bad controller, in which case you'd probably have to contact nintendo customer service. Maybe they'll send you a new one since your actually Wii system is working right?
Did you consult the operations manual?

Yeah he is right the sensor bar is probably not leaning over a bit so it can't pick up the sensor.

My suggestion is to first back away from the TV. Make sure you're around 4-5 feet away.
My second suggestion is to make sure the Sensor Bar (if on top of the TV) is pushed as far forward as physically possible. This way the edge of the TV isn't blocking anything.
Third, make sure the bar is fully plugged in.

If you still can't get it to work, but the controller does recognize when you press buttons such as A or the Home button, perhaps there is something wrong with the controller. Try taking it back to the store you got it. If they wont take it, I'm sure Nintendo will replace it.

Good luck.

What you should probably do is: turn everything off and take the batteries out of the Wiimote. Then place the sensor bar wherever you like it, top, or bottom of tv. Then sync the Wiimote and Wii. Then go to the settings and set wether the sensor bar is on top or bottom, and if all else fails, try takinging it all apart like when you first got it (power cord, av jacks, batteries, etc.) wait a few minutes, then plug everything back up, and re-sync and you should be fine, if not then I would contact NOA, but if they don't help (which they most likely will)
then go to buy another Wiimote. I know you're probably thinking it's your system, and if it is then you are going to get another, and when you do you will probably eventually get another Wiimote, so I hope that helps and have fun Wiiing!

You are all wrong. If you see one dot you MUST call nintendo because your sensor bar is crap, and they'le replace it.
