Cool My Older Brother Was Saving In Secret

Despite how the news said that people had been robbed for PS3's, teenagers had been robbbed of their money for buying one and that they were expecting the same sort of thing with Wii, turns out my Older Brother was saving in secret, and didn't want me to buy Wii.
He said something like, "I'll waste my own hard earned-earned money so you don't have to waste yours." We got him stuff to keep warm from the store he was camping out at, supporting him, stuff like that.
Then he got a ticket for reserving his spot in line, and then had time to search the internet and talk to me about which other game he should get besides Wii Sports, what the system comes with, and Twilight Princess. In the end, he got these items from camping out:

Wii Box Set With Wii Sports, Extra Wii Remote, Extra Nunchuck Controller, 2000 Wii Points Card, Rayman Raving Rabbids, an last but not least, Twilight Princess Wii.
The only thing he mainly forgot was a Classic Controller, but we can get that later.

But yeah, I was sp physched Wii get a Wii at launch...

Oh, and now it is taking SO long to update the Channels, even LONGER than it took to update the Internet Connection!

Hey that's cool that your brother stood in line. What store was he camping out at? I got in line at a Super Walmart at 4 pm Saturday and was #7. Waited 8 hours, but at least I got to sit and it was inside, and also got it at midnight. My little sister is lucky too bc she wouldn't be getting one if it wasn't for me. Ah well, I'm glad I got there early cause there ended up being 40+ people in line and there were only 20 Wii, so I got out of there quick before those people realized they weren't going to get one. I felt bad for them though.
I picked up and extra wiimote and nunchuck and Zelda of course. I'm hoping to get RedSteel for X-mas. You'll have to tell me if Rayman is any good, I was thinking of getting that too, it looks funny.

I only got like 2 hours total playtime and he has like 5 hours on Twilight Princess, I only got like 30 minutes with Wii Sports and neither of us have tried Rayman Raving Rabbids yet. I guess he's good though, I mean, he had a really hard time at Target. Yeah, to repeat it, he camped out at Target...

Oh, and I'll try to talk about Twilight Princess on this thread more less it get moved...

Meh. When Me and my sister went out looking for the Wii, she wasn't really looking hard. I mean, she could care less if we got the wii on launch day... but dang it was killing me! Haha.

Wow that's pretty awesome of him. But dude, that's like a lot of money to spend on all of that.

250+2(60)+20+20+40= $450. That's freaking sweet of him.

My older brother (he's 22) buys us stuff usually. But he's out in the Marines so he's not home all the time. Speaking of, he's coming home Saturday!

@ mrfink: DO NOT GET RED STEEL! It is glitchy beond repair. VERY GLITCHY!

I got the Wii on launch. 1st in line at my local Super Walmart. Got there about 7:30 a.m. waited in line for 17 hours +. They said they had some bad news at about 10:00 pm that they were to have 29 units in but only 20 of them were in stock. The other 9 would be in on Monday. By this time there was 31 people in line. The extra 11 people (when told this) left. Got my Wii and TP.
