| | | The Same Formula...Again? Okay, OoT was great, it was just a lot of fun. Everyone wanted OoT to be remade.
Majora's Mask was different, a lot of people loved it, but not as much as OoT.
Wind Waker was hell different, but still popular in it's own right, but not the classic OoT-game people wanted.
Twilight Princess is apparently the OoT-style game everyone wants....but can Nintendo just keep doing that?
Will fans (more particularly, you) be happy if they just keep making OoT-style games, with different storylines?
I didn't like Wind Waker that much, but I liked that it was different, and I just don't think people will keep buying OoT-esque games continually....but maybes thats just me.
Discuss. :) |

| | | yeh i was thinking about that, i've only played majors mask and ocarina of time but a bit of a different formula would have been nice. maybe the richness and uniqueness of each level and the sidequests will provide some difference |

| | | I'm sure Twilight Princess will be great, but I'm very dissappointed that Nintendo went to the great lengths it did to make it just like OoT, right down to the opening screen! I have yet to play the game, of course, so it could be different enough, but from what I've seen it really does just look like a reworking of OoT. I haven't read the spoilers, but I've heard the story is very good, but I would like Nintendo to try something new. Personally, I don't even like the new graphics all that much. |

| | | I'd like some type of co-op in the next Zelda.
Or maybe 1:1 sword fighting. |

| | | can definetly understand why theyd want to follow a proven formula, considering the prestige the zelda series has and the fact that its the wiis main launch title. wouldnt want to take such a big risk with such big stakes. |

| | | Nintendo is smarter than that. They won't give us another OoT time for a looooong time now. We'll be entirely pleased with this one, and the next one will be something VERY different. Remember the OoT to MM to WW? Expect something along those lines. It's not because Nintendo lacks originality, they just care deeply about their fans, and give them what they want. But only to an extent. What we want isn't always thr right thing

| | | Only Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask have used this realistic look, and this was because of the series going into 3d. I doubt TP will be similar to either. |

| | | Well, I don't see it as an OoT remake. Yeah the style is like Oot. But there aren't many graphic styles you can do. It's like, cellshaded, or realistic, and everything else in between. You guy's have got to notice the different mechanics in this game..The whole wolf part was put into there. There doesn't seem to be time travelling in this one. Musical instruments don't play a big part. The story is definitely much different than past Zelda games. I mean, what does it mean to make an Oot game?

| | | I think Twilight Princess will have a twist but ultimately it will be the same formula... someone is behind all this and you fight that someone at the end of the game... no big surprise there, I might actually just say who someone is!
