I can't get the game until at least monday and I probably won't have time to play it until the weekend after I get it.

I personally prefer the DS because of Megaman ZXA, Mario, Castlevania, GBA games, and FF (tons)

Really!!! I like the graphics, movies, story and voices, but I really hate the battle system. It would be okay if the game didn't force you to lock onto a target, but it does and I don't really like the magic casting system either. I will beat it though because I really want to experience the story.

Technically it's still a turn-based battle system that you have more control in. It's the reason why some things happen before others, and why it locks on. (You can tell when you get a limit break because the enemies moves have to finish first.) The only thing you really have control is where you are, when you're doing the move, and dodging.

Missions are crazy hard. I haven't been progressing in the story as quickly because of them. But when I do story based missions, they are quite easy. (I'm actually like level 65 with 50k hp)

So it seems we finally have a FF7 compilation game that's actually worth buying, but is it also worth it to buy a PSP just for this game? (Of course I would buy some other games too, but this would be the main reason.)

Crisis core is definitly one of the best games on the PSP. The story is the main draw point. It ruins a bit of the continuity from the first game. But I'm guessing that it'll be fixed once the remake of FFVII is made.
