Uh pretty much Metal Gear Solid is ONE OF THE BEST video game series out there! Its a Stealth Action game, with very complex and deep story lines about war, politics, weapons, love, censorship, science, intelligence and so on. Hideo Kojima the master behind these 'Master Pieces', is one of the best developers in the video game industry. Many developers are inspired by his work.

Really you should either start with MGS1/Twin Snakes (GC Remake) or MGS3
but if you want to play all the games in order then it would be like this

MGS3 (PS2, xbox) based in the 60s
MGS Portable Ops (PSP) based in the 70s
MG (nes, computer) based in the 90s
MG2 (nes, computer) based in the 90s
MGS1 (PS1/GC (remake)) based in 2005
MGS2 (PS2) based in 2007 - 2009
MGS4 (PS3) based in 2014

In MGS3, and Portable Ops you get to play as Naked Snake/Big Boss
In MG,MG2,MGS1,MGS4 you get to play as Solid Snake (fans favorite)

Also you get to play as Solid Snake in MSG2 for like two hours, then you get to play as Raiden which was a little disappointing, but not to bad. The part with Snake is way more funnier (the beginning of the game)

I haven't played Portable Ops or MG and MG2. But so far of what I played MGS2 Sons of Liberty has to be my least favorite, it was awesome but not as good as MGS1,MGS3,and MGS4.

I would recommend playing them in their release order though. Except that you shouldn't play mgs2 before the mgs1 remake obviously.

PS3 is actually starting to look pretty decent, and at the price, you can't go wrong. Buy it and enjoy it!

Also, is it me or does Assasians Creed GTA 4 and CoD 4 look the same on 360 as it does on PS3?

In that case I would get them for 360 because my father has one.

Well from experience The PS3 version of GTA 4 is less glitchy than the 360 version. Depends on what type of TV you play it on, and what cables you use.

So for over all preformance I guess PS3 would work then!

So if you do have the money and you want it enough then you should get it ^^
