I just thought a thread like this is necessary to get an idea of how different, or alike our thoughts about the Zelda series are. Helps us get a better understanding, and much better quality conversations.
Enjoy :)

Something different, with well thought out storylines, and diverse landscapes. What are your Likes, Dislikes about the series?
Love the fighting, and boss battles, and music. Dislike that I suck at solving puzzles
Favorite Games in the series?
Majora's Masks
Least Favorite Games in the series?
Those CDi games (Never played em, but they look crap) What got you into Zelda?
My friend, he played OoT, and it looked hell fun - so I got Majora's Mask for Christmas. What are the elements needed for a Zelda game?
Destructible environments.
Seasonal weather.
More customization (maybe for items, and what you wear).
Nice thread by the way! |

| | | Zelda, for me, is my escape from reality. When I was younger, and things were looking down, I'd just play my brother's SNES, and pop in A Link to the past. Or I'd play Ocarina of Time on his N64. My brother didn't let me play his games though, so I had to do very slealthilly, when he was gone. If he got home too soon, I'd have an erased file by the end of the day. I got to the shadow Temple on OoT once, before he erased it. It took me an entire year to beat it. Today, I own a Gamecube, soon to get a Wii, and I also have obtained every Zelda game, except the CD-i ones, but those don't count.
Zelda for me, still remains a place to escape. My own little world I can go to where I can be a hero, and save the world. Or if I feel like it, ride around on my horse, or go fishing by the lake. When I'm playing, I can forget about what I got on that test, forget whatever problems I'm having with my girlfriend, forget about my parent's divorce, and just leave it all behind. When you have the Mastersword in YOUR hand, nothing else matters. Gaming is my life, and it will always be my way to deal with stress, and just escape from the boring reality of life.

Art. Even though some people like to argue whether games are actually an art form or not, I think Zelda can be considered such. It's imagery, storyline, memorable characters, and music make the game come alive. It's beauty! What are your Likes, Dislikes about the series?
Like I said above I love the impact it can have. It can be a simple game, or a moving piece of art. I don't really have any dislikes I suppose...Just how long it takes for a game to come out! "Let's push it back again!" Grrr. Favorite Games in the series?
Ocarina of Time
Least Favorite Games in the series?
The CDi...And becomes I've committed sin by even mentioning them...Well, Link help me. >< What got you into Zelda?
My brothers. When we were younger we played SNES like crazy, but Zelda wasn't a big thing for me yes because of my age...When we got the N64 though I played OoT, and was like, "He looks familiar!" lol What are the elements needed for a Zelda game?
Well, whatever Miyamoto comes up with, I think will be just fine...I haven't been disappointed yet...Well, except for those cursed CDi!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ocarina of Time. Least Favorite Games in the series?
If I had to pick, probably Majora's Mask. Just because it felt kind of slapped together to me. What got you into Zelda?
My Dad. We started playing video games together when I was 3 What are the elements needed for a Zelda game?(In your opinion)
Realism. I loved how Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess are real looking. Don't get me wrong, I loved Wind Waker in its own way, I just love games that look real and unreal at the same time.
By the way, awesome thread
