How to pay less for items as long as you have the money to pay for the item. To do this trick simply pay for an item press Start + Select + A + B to save the game after you have chosen to pay for it and when you retrart the game you will have the item but will not have paid full price for it. The amount you pay-depends on how fast you can save the game and quit then restart.

Also with the followig trick you will not be called thief and the shop owner will not kill you if you return to the shop.

Man I really hated that thief-name-calling thing. I guess you can't get everything for free. But when I first read that cheat, the place I read it from didn't tell me that it would make your name thief, so when I did it and was being called thief forever, I couldn't take it and restarted my game. I was so angry.

That sounds like a cool trick. Is Link's Awakening only for GBC or do they have it for the GBA? I would like to play it sometime but I don't think GBA can play GBC games.

I can check out if it works on gameboy advance or not. But any Gameboy Advance can play any gameboy color or original gameboy game. Some people don't know that because they have not tried it or simply because they do not make gameboy color games anymore and they are really not played very often anymore. If you play a GBC or GB game on Gameboy Advance you will also be able to press L or R to make the screen more narrow or to widen it back to full screen.

I always stole the items I wanted except when I played through again to get a 000 death count.
