| | | Confirmation of a split timeline in the series! From Eiji Aonuma (works on Zelda games) himself. The Hylia - Nintendo News, Reviews, Media and More!
I found this by complete chance.
This is pretty neat. |

| | | That makes no sense because in another interview he said there was one timeline so which is it he cant make up his mind.

| | | heh. i also linked to the article about windwaker once... JJAB, even if miyamoto made some kind of global tv announcement that there is a split timeline theory and you saw it, or Miyamoto walked up to you in person and told you, you wouldn't beleive it.

| | Yeah I do from Wikipedia : Quote: |
The creators maintain that the series has a set timeline, but due to the poor translation protocols in the 1990s and debate over what counts as "canonical" material, the available information continues to be disputed. Eiji Aonuma has since promised he will do his best to patch it all up and reveal the timeline someday[citation needed], and Miyamoto stated in a 2003 interview that there is a master document containing the timeline, but this document has not been seen publicly and subsequently there is little other proof of its existence.
| I couldnt get the link but it says timeline not timelines.

| | | It's interesting to see that sentence not only addresses translation errors but also ends with [citation needed].
