Zelda 2

i think zelda 2 is the most underrated zelda game of all time. its a great game. Its unlike all the others but i like what they did to the game.

Although I never got far in Adventures of Link, I too love it's unique charm. It introduce those tedious market places, using magic and introduced the notion of Link as a swordsman with an actual fighting style as opposed to some elf swinging a sword like an idiot. I bet if Zelda 2 never happened, we probably never see Twilight Princess.

I'd actually would like to see if Nintendo will try going back to side-scrolling Zelda to see if they can do it right this time.

It Is

So maany people are just like

OMG! THIS GAME SUCKS LINK IS SO STUPID AND LIKE IT IS TE SO ANNOYING AND AND ANDA...

But yea, it went alot deeper than the original Zelda.
It had so many floors in dungeons, a massive world..
Items to increase your health and magic meters along with leveling up..

When you think about it, you can compare this game to elements of today's Zelda games that the original didn't have...
Like Boss Patterns, backtracking... all those things.
I can't beleive some people.'
They should really give it another cahnce and start playing it again...

It also had towns and Non-Player Characters in those towns with whom you could interact. That's now a big part of the Zelda world. But to be honest it's a sum***** doing all that leveling. I prefer Zelda to RPGs because fighting is down to skill rather than levels and points. This game makes it feel like work for me, but if you enjoy RPGs I'm sure it'd be a lot easier to play.

I Know

I Know What You mean McFugg. Another reason I like the bulk of the series, also.
Which is why I also liked how in the game not only could you increase your health and magic by leveling up you could also do it by finding hearts and potions, like Today's traditional Zelda game.

oh like wandering arround an giant grassfield in the middle of nowhere is any more fun...oh wait it get's better, you don't get an ounce of sleep cause frikkin zombies come out from every hole in the ground to kill you so you waste precious moonlight staying alive till morning

Yeah, thas pretty much one of the reasons I didn't like Ocarina of Time. At least in the old Zeldas, when you killed the enemies they stayed dead and gives you plenty of time to relax.
