Timeline

This was taking from different interviews with the producers, and Shigeru Miyamoto himself. So I would assume it is the most correct timeline that exsists. Does anyone have any thoughts about it, or anything of that nature? Or can anyone prove anything wrong with it?

I think TP will fit between MM and WW, and may explain how Ganon managed to get up to the surface of the Great Sea.

I think it is after MM. Because Epona is obviously older in this version. When he leaves Ocarina of Time he becomes a kid then in MM he is still a kid there so there can't be much time difference between the two. I think after he leaves the area in MM he grows up in the area in this next game. Also I he fights one of Darania's Kids so it has to be somewhere after OOT. But I am thinking It is after MM.

It isn't the same Link. This will be quite a while after the likes of MM.

It's already confirmed that it takes place decades after MM, and quite a bit behind WW.

Also, the horse is not Epona, but a different horse all together. Makes sense really, otherwise there would be an Epona bloodline on top of the Link bloodline and Zelda bloodline.

here is what I got, i finalized it after hearing Aounuma say TP takes place 100 or so years after OoT and befor WW.



(sometime befor the very first appearance of a princess named Zelda the very first princess Zelda was put to sleep by a sorcerer, she is the heroine on Zelda 2 adventure of Link)

(Note the golden wolf knows all the soul calibur 2 moves, also note that this explains how WW Ganondorf got OUT of the sacred realm and the triforce of power may have ressurected him. It appears that the TP Link then returned the sword to it's pedestal and that Zelda had the new castle built around it, with stainglass windows of OoT sages and statues of TP Link.)

It is inbetween this time when Link has the triforce of courage and Zelda has the wisdom and Ganon has power constantly reanimating him.
Therefor THIS is where the cartoons take place, all the first season and the two cartoon based games Zelda Wand of Gamelon and Link Faces of Evil. Also Valient comic's Nintendo Comics System

I have no better place to put it so lets throw the spaceworld 2000 Link and Ganondorf here.

Windwaker (you know the drill by now, Link gets hero clothes which were modeled after the TP clothes which were originally kokiri clothes, with the hat which traces from Minish etc.

(yadda yadda some old lady and a dragon obviously a younger link then the wristwatch. THERE is a triforce piece, i believe courage being put together. i have reason to believe this link is buried with it and the end of Zelda 2 you are in his tomb fighting shadow link.)

Four Swords Advance (I base this entirely off the dungeon of the four sword i really don't know anything aside from that he was sealed and the seal was broken here.)

Tetris/Tetris DS/Mario Golf/f-1 race/after travelling to all these games this Link dies in a foriegn land hence Final Fantasy — (Dawn of Souls and Origins versions) — Link’s name appears on a tombstone in Elfland. (In the North American NES version, the tombstone is Erdrick’s).

Super Mario RPG (appears to be a normal random Link EXCEPT that in Super mario bros 3 the LttP Link's flute is used)

The hero/heroine from aincent stone tablets befor being sent back in time is born at this time.

Obviously Smash bros is based off toys brought to life if you remember in SSB64 so it's not a timeline issue it's just modern times and Satteleview made it clear that Zelda takes place in the distant past of a modern world.

i found a real interesting video on a timeline that made ALOT of sense on gametrailers.com but i lost the link for it you should REALLY check it out becuz it is the most logical timeline i have ever heard its like a 12 minute video
