Sorry for the double/necro post, but playing OoT today I had an interesting find. My version of OoT does in fact have some red blood. In the first room of the Bottom of the Well, with a skeleton in it, there is blood all over the walls. I can post a pic of it if anyone wishes.
I still think I probably have a version 1.2 or a green blood version 1.1, but there is at least one blood spot Nintendo didn't take out.

I noticed that in my friend's version of OoT.. I have red blood and chanting; whatever version that is :)
My birthday is coming up too and for the first time in awhile I have no new exciting games to spend the money in my cards on, sigh. Mario Kart possibly, but I know me. I'd beat the game, and then it would just sit on my shelf collecting dust. I like sports games, so I thought about Major League Baseball 2k8. I read a review, and it's looks like a clone of Major League Baseball 2k6 on the Gamecube which I own. I've been waiting for a good hockey game on the Wii, and NHL 2k9 so far is getting bad previews and looks visually like an N64 game with expansion pack at best.
Whatever though. On the Wii I'll probably have some fun with Animal Crossing: City Folk, and NHL 2k9 if it turns out to be not crap. For the PC I'll probably buy some of the Guild Wars campaigns I don't have yet and maybe finish getting my Flyff characters past 2nd job, and hopefully that will keep me happy until the new Zelda arrives.
I'd personally like to see an F-Zero on the Wii too. I'm still having good fun with F-Zero GX though it's quite hard.
