| | | Andrew, you do realize that some Wii games are able to use the Classical controller and sometimes the Gamecube controller? So you don't always have use the Wii-mote and swing it around like an "angry monkwii." I do see some good points that you made about the Wii,
but you haven't made any good points about the DS. The DS Lite is a great Hand-held system, you don't need super amazing graphics for a hand held. The control system is great also, its fresh and new. Touching feels alot more faster for selecting stuff on the screen. The DS Lite is the perfect size too, you can carry it around anywhere and you don't have to worry about the screens breaking because its inside, when its closed. (unlike Sony's PSP) The DS has good battery life too. Also it can play GBA games as well.
Theres a good amount of games for the DS right now, more than PSP.

| | | I didn't know you could attach a gamecube remote. That's cool. But I still will never like the Wii. I've never played a DS outside of a gamestop, and there's are always faulty and broken. But I'm going by all the information in game magazines about it. They like it of course, but whatever. I'm far more against the Wii than DS. I might even get a DS for Zelda games, that princess peach game, and another on I can't remember (but I know I wanted), lol. But down with Wii! lol.
If Nintendos next console in whatever amount of years turns out to be good, cool. But I don't think the current on is. Thanks for your opinions, and I hope more people chime in too.

| | | I agree with most of the points. I feel as though Nintendo has forgot the "Hardcore" gamers, such as myself. It's true that Nintendo has a large amount of games, but the majority of those are so bad that I would rather sit in my room and do nothing at all.
With only a few "Hardcore" games (Zelda, Prime, ETC.), I kinda feel jipped. I don't include SSBB, or SMG in there because I don't feel they are "Hardcore." SSBB is not too difficult, and although it has some cool features (Stage builder, trophies, etc.) It seems to just be trying to keep up, and SMG seems too easy. Stage builder seemed to not have much depth, and the trophies (which I know it's one of the first games to have them) are in every 360 game, in the form of achievements.
I love the Wii for the few great games it has. The $60 for controller and nunchuck is a lot, but its not so bad because that’s the average price for controllers for all systems. But when a plethora of accessories are being released seeming every day, that’s greedy. When you have large amounts of games released, and 5 of them are worth playing, that’s not necessarily greedy, but I think Nintendo should have higher standards then that. In the end, I'm disappointed in Nintendo, but I am still glad I bought a Wii.
But when it comes to other systems, I do like 360 a lot, but the red ring of death is a huge problem that annoys me to no end. I have gotten it, and it wouldn’t be a big deal if it didn't take a month and a half to get it back. It makes me extremely angry I paid $450 for a system, and I have to worry about it failing, then waiting a month to get it back.
I hate PS3. I hate PS3 an amount that cannot be written in this post, because it would take all of the bandwidth of the entire site. I don't actually know why I hate it, I liked the PS2, but I seem to have an inborn hate of it. Part of it is because I kinda think that the PS3 ripped off the motion controls of Wii. They saw all the commotion it was causing, and decided "We should get some of that attention". Well that’s all I have to say, thanks for reading if you did.

| | | I actually hate how newer consoles and controllers have been getting more expensive every Gen. The PS3, 360, and even the Wii have started to turn more into a multi media product than just a video game console. And I hate that. I hate having to pay more money just because it has a few extra features such as being able to play music, movie, store photos, and more. I already own like three dvd players, five different types of stereos, one mp4 player (I'm pretty sure most people own I-Pods) A computer that can store all my information I need, and web browsing. Like seriously! The Xbox 360 Elite was such a stupid move, like who needs 120g?!! Same with Sony's 80g PS3. (well if the 40g was able to play ps2 games, that would be great.)

| | | For the Xbox 360, 120 gigs is definitely way too big for its needs. But if you grab an Elite, it doesn't hurt. |

| | | I love your post gwfl. But; kudos to sony for their insidious theft, hahaha. Motion control is cool, but not in the lame as a@$ form that Nintendo put it in. But in the stolen form of sonys; way better. So good for their piraty plunderin' ways, arrgghh! But after the first company back in the day even made a system, you could say that the other companies ripped them off in a lot of ways. Nintendo wasn't first; they ripped off other systems in creating their own system. Who cares really; we have cool junk now, lol.
Anyways; power to the people! Or something..........

| | | Oh yeah. When you got a character like Mario, you stick him in just about everything you can. If you play games on a Nintendo console, you can expect to see him somewhere, at some point. |

| | | seriously, The Motion Controls for the Wii are far superior to any failed sony attempt, and there are plenty of games that don't use them at all (fire emblem and SSBB come to mind instantly) and there are plenty of games that are made better by them. Sony is utterly failing and I hope they continue to fail.. It almost seems like you are just hating on the Wii and DS because it's the market leader at this point, and it's cool to be nonconformist...
