Uh, yes it did pretty much. If your gonna get the game buy in North America because the censored version for japan, uk, and so on, when people die they just explode in dust, so you don't really get the full experience. Also the black pixel dust really sucks for boss battles, because you usually kill the boss in some fancy way, so in the censor version they just turn black then explode in dust.

here is example for the first boss. (comparision between the censored and non-censor version of the game.)

so I would import the game if I was you.

It had a lot of very fun moments, but the best assassination mission for the money was the 90k one you got very early on, a lot of the between rank fight time was really repetitive and only served to extend the game artificially. The game started to look like it's story would get better right around the end of the beach fight, but then... it just got worse and worse and worse...ending in a jumbled mess of weird stuff.

It had a lot of really fun moments, some of the boss fights were very entertaining, but as it went on, a lot of them were really boring since bosses were invincible except to specially timed attacks, it felt like there was no action to them, and some of them were very meticulous and slow. The very final boss fight on the real ending was particularly not fun because of the one hit kill move that he had and that was hard to look out for.

Overall.. it was an okay game, but not even close to any of the stellar reviews that I read.
Well first I gotta disagree with most of what you said. The story was simple, I honestly don't know how you couldn't understand what was going on, since everything was pretty much so clear. Just the part when the final boss chick talks really fast, but if you watch the video on youtube , of them slowing that part down, she actually tells you stuff.

The boss's were pretty easy after you beat the game a few times but the first time through, its a bit hard, espically when you use the blood berry beam. The final boss with the one hit kill, that was VERY noticeable because first he stands still and stands up his beam. Then he says "lets have a little fun" or something like that and stands there for about six seconds then he charges at you. so at this time you should be running in a circle or when he attacks using the directional pad to dodge left or right. JUST because you can't dodge his attack properly doesn't mean the fight is BORING or not fun, its simply cause you're not use to it or not that good of a player.

Also for the bosses being slow, have you even tried out Bitter?(Hard)

I'm not saying this is the super best game ever, because it does have a few flaws but this game is worth buying. Its a great game, its fun, entertaining, funny, action packed, original, and so on. It deserves no lower than 8.4. No more Heroes is a great game to own for the Nintendo Wii.

The only reason I ever considered importing was cause I recently got Freeloader with Brawl. If i do get it, I will probably buy it from Play-Asia, or is there a better site?

Am I really the only one who thought that this was a pretty shallow and mediocre game?
