| | | This game looks awesome! With the great reviews it has gotten (can't believe Gamespot gave it a 9) I'll definitely be picking this one up. Maybe it is a good thing Brawl got delayed again, I hate trying to play two great games at one time.

| | | I actually called them right after my History class and they said they had only one copy left, so I reserved that sucker and drove over to pick it up. I've only played for about an hour, but so far, it's crazy good. It's obviously a little more fast-paced than Killer 7, but it's also a bit funnier. I can't reall write a full review yet since I haven't unlocked anything at all, but you can buy Travis new clothes and stuff.
That's all I'll write, because I don't want to spoil any of the little surprises and Suda51's crazy humor.

| | | Well sadly for me , and probably some others, for some odd ball reason, the Canadian release date is Feb 1st?! Even though I could probably just drive over to the states and buy it there. (2 hour drive) But actually this maybe a good thing because I have Exams this Friday, Monday, and Wednesday. Also I have two projects to finish by Tuesday.
Yeah I played Killer7, I fell in love with Killer7, lets just leave at that. haha.
Also I already spoiled somethings for myself for No more Heroes because of Wikipedia, and Video Reviews (such as GAMETRAILERS! what the hell they shown a bunch of videos of the final boss! 8.2 isn't bad either. I'm still pissed off about IGN review, why the hell didn't Matt review it?! (Mark Bozon is decent, he's not that great.) but I bet Matt would of gave it no lower than 8.0. Surprisingly you think Gamespot would give it 7.8 and IGN would give a 9.0 but no it was the other way around...

| | | FINALLY! No more Heroes came out in Canada today, like Jesus Christ! I'm not hundred percent sure why the Canadian release date was delayed for two weeks but man did that piss me off alot! I had this game planned so after I was done my exams for first semester (Jan 22) I could go pick up the game and play it the rest of the break (Semester two started on 1 or 2?) Plus to make matters somewhat depressing, we had a three day snow day! This has never ever happened to me before, maybe one day but never three! So after that, it was friday (which is today) and I looked on the Gamespot forums and somebody posted "It's finally here in Canada" or something like that, so after school I went down to EB games and picked it up!
I am sooo happy, this game is amazing! (I'm still mad at Ubisoft.) Well there are a few issues like the overworld, and the frame rate but everything else is fine! The boss fights are so epic! They all have a great personality. I'm playing on Sweet first, because I don't wanna get stuck. I've been playing since I got home which now has been 7 hours and already I'm a Rank 5 Assassin! Man this game is sooo funny as well, epically how Travis tries to get close to Sylvia. I've been upgrading my strength, weapons, jobs, and so on. This game is amazing, definitely the best Mature Title game for Wii. Anyone who likes violence, action and humor should definitely buy this game now!

| | | Congrats man. Glad to see you finally got it.
Did you have any trouble with Shinobu? She was the only boss that killed me with her One Hit KO. Wait until you fight Bat Girl...crazy.

But she definitely my favorite assassins right now, also Holly Summers as well, they're both cool. I haven't fought Bad Girl yet, she second I know that. I only got up to Holly Summers.
UPDATE!
Well I just beat the game today, 2 days, 12 hours? I must be crazy playing for so long in two days, lol. The ending was funny but confusing at the same time. There was alot of stuff threw in at the end. (I watched the real ending) I really enjoyed the game, so tomorrow I'm gonna start on Mild! I've died like four times on Sweet, somethings were pretty tough. Also now I'm trying to download the soundtrack, the music is soo awesome, epically the end credits for both endings.

| | | Sales have been doing pretty good so far, I heard that they sold about 100,000 copies in the states in the first two week of sales. That's a pretty good start. Haven't heard anything about the Canadian sales yet since it was delayed for more than two weeks. Sadly sales in Japan are still pretty bad but last time I heard it sold 40,000 in the first two weeks. Already the UK has demanded over 160,000 copies now even though their getting the sensor version like Japan did. Which means no blood, just black pixels. The UK should expect the game to come out by the end of February or beginning of March.
Marvelous is planning to sell about 500,000 world wide by the end of March.
I'm pretty sure some people are depending on the reviews if they should get this game or not so I thought it would be a good idea to post up the average ratings from gamerankings.com
The total average is now 83% which is really good.

| | | I was actually very disappointed by this game, it isn't at all a 9.0 game. Maybe an 8. It had a lot of very fun moments, but the best assassination mission for the money was the 90k one you got very early on, a lot of the between rank fight time was really repetitive and only served to extend the game artificially. The game started to look like it's story would get better right around the end of the beach fight, but then... it just got worse and worse and worse...ending in a jumbled mess of weird stuff.
It had a lot of really fun moments, some of the boss fights were very entertaining, but as it went on, a lot of them were really boring since bosses were invincible except to specially timed attacks, it felt like there was no action to them, and some of them were very meticulous and slow. The very final boss fight on the real ending was particularly not fun because of the one hit kill move that he had and that was hard to look out for.
Overall.. it was an okay game, but not even close to any of the stellar reviews that I read.

| | | Hi, just a question to those that have played the Australian version. Did taking out the violence matter much? Or is it better to import it? | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
