i am now on my wii and i got the adaptor and advance wars, getting some points soon typing gets annoying

I just got the Wi-Fi connector today it works great! ya the weather channel was auwsome i thought it wasnt coming out till late jan. but my shop channel isnt working though it says theres a error? do i need a membership on the nintendosite to do this?
