Well if IGN, the supposed "haters of all things Sonic" is geniually excitied about this game, than it must be good. I've always thought since Nintendo has a more closer relationship with SEGA than the other companies, the Sonic games on a Nintendo system has been better than ones on multiplatforms...and thank god SEGA is done wtih ****ing new characters and figured out what people has been asking since SA1...playing as Sonic...period!!!

Yea, still, I'd love a spin-off game with Tails. He owns!
But I doubt that invest much in a spin off game so it'd be crap.

IMO the most fun was to be had with one player as Sonic and the other as Tails on 1 screen. If they brought a Co-Op style back to the game I'd get this.

I agree, Sonic all the way. I don't like how they keep adding new characters to the series, but they may be onto something with Silver the Hedgehog, in the Xbox 360 Sonic.

Hold up, didn't you just contradict yourself just now? I mean you're saying how you don't like new characters but then say you want to see more of Silver? That doesn't make any sense.

As long as only Sonic is playable and nobody else, than I think the series could come back, but if we keep pushing other people into the spotlight where they don't belong, then we get a problem and it no longer becomes Sonic's game.

Sonic Rush on the DS introduced Blaze, but I only played as Sonic.

Ahh, I see. Like a fisherman, you have a net to choose what newbies to keep and what toss back.. okay then. But I warn you...for every good character like Blaze, every mediocre character like Silver, there are tons of crappy new characters like Big or Black Doom or Omega....or Shadow , he's the worst of them all.
