It has to be Pink Floyd. The lead singer of the unknown song sounds EXACTLY like the lead singer of Pink Floyd. It's kind of a slow and mellow song with only one person singing. I think it's also done with an acoustic guitar. It's not Comfortably Numb or Another Brick in the Wall I, II, & III. If only I could show you how the intro sounds...

No, it's not So Far Away. Nice find though! This is just like when people were trying to figure out the lyrics to Israelites!

Alright, well in the unknown song, it starts out with three guitar strings (maybe more) being strummed 7 times. The first three strums sound the same. The next three strums sound a little higher. The last strum sounds like the first three. Then, the whole thing repeats. After that, whatever the guy says when he sings has a total of 12 syllables. The next verse also has around 12 syllables. After that it's the chorus (I don't know that you don't know me thing).

No, I seriously don't know the name of the song. That's why I described it so elaborately in my previous post. I hear the song from time to time and I've memorized enough to get all that down.

Yeah, but I don't want to spam the forum. Besides, aren't recently-replied-to threads at the top of the list? I don't think it would make much of a difference if I made a new thread.
