So, I dont know how we got to this subject from the title of the thread, but since we are here...

I remember learning about this stuff in 6th grade. The year after the girls did. I remember the guy who taught us was really nervous and never really got to any points. I just remember him telling us we were gonna have wet dreams and not to tell anybody in the morning, except to ask our mom for new sheets. I had no idea what the hell was going on. It wasnt til a friend later on explained sex to me that I had any idea. Later on i'll tell you all how he found out, and when I do you are all gonna die of laughter, or disgust...one of the two

XD! I remember seeing this clip of an American 70's sex ed video on the internet once, where this boy whispers a question to this gardener bloke, to which he responds "Well, that's a good question. In my job, I see a lot of penises..."

Lmao! Anyway,Our sex ed class was hilarious because if any of us interrupted the class we had to read off the board all about "how to do it" and "what are STD's"...Like we already didn'y know...So I was the girl explaing what a errection was to the entire class,I was laughing between words. :)

Which reminds me of that same vid I was talking about, when they discuss the above mentioned they just zoom in on a boy's face (yes he even did a double take) waking up in the middle of the night, looking under the covers completely shocked. That is all they did to explain.

Like Oweonsito said, since we're on this kind of topic, was anyone else taught about sexual harrassment by the Aware Bears?

These old ladies would come to class with bear puppets to demonstrate where we shouldn't be touched. They gave us Aware Bear stickers and coloring books. Each page contained a different harrasment issue.

So one night my friend and I are riding home on our bikes, and he starts asking me if I know about sex. Keep in mind I am from UTAH (I'm sure roll already had 3 kids by this age). I was in sixth grade and had no idea because all I knew about the subject I learned from old sweaty nervous guy I previously mentioned. I told him I didnt know and he started to explain what part did what to who and all of that. I thought it was the most disgusting thing I had ever heard in my life. Then I asked him how he knew all that.

Now here is the important part to read..

he told me his parents took him up to their cabin in the mountains, and they told him to go sit in the hot tub... then his parents came out naked and proceeded to show him about the birds and the bees while they told him what they were doing.

I about died when I heard this. Apparently they take all their kids to the cabin when they reach a certain age.

well anyway that is how I learned about sex.
