| I would like all members to take note of the "reputation" button, and the "report post" button located at the top right of each post. The reputation button (looks like scales) allows you to add rep to,(or take away from) other members based on the post you are reading. If you are taking away....it should be for a very good reason.
The report post button looks like a caution sign. If you have a problem with a post or thread, use this button to let the moderators and admins know about it. This sends an e-mail to all mods and admins, so it will not be ignored. At this point, you have put the matter in our hands and should trust us to handle it in the manner we deem most appropriate. Do not use the chat box to report posts or threads, or to call us out on what you think is wrong with the way we have or have not handled things. (Unless, of course, someone is posting porn or causing a situation that demands immediate attention and you happen to see a moderator or admin there.) Telling us that you think we should merge threads etc. does not constitute an emergency. (Also, if you accidentally messed something up and would like us to fix it, go ahead and ask in the chat box if you like.)
