First day of school for the year after a 6 week break was today.

Now we have 5 periods a day (instead of 6), longer recess and lunch, and if we have a study period last period we can go home (Year 12's only). Only a couple of days in my 2 week timetable cycle have a study period last period though. :(

Luckily I only had English and Art today, so it wasn't too difficult. We have a new English teacher, and he's alright, but he's a Doctor of Literature who's done 10 years of university so I'm a little worried he'll have high expectations (I'm in the Advanced course and I'm fair lousy at English). Art was just a bludge and I can easily get high marks in that, so it's all good.

What's great about today though is I arrived home, and both my RC car, and Adobe Web Premium CS3 had arrived. I think once I start taking my Mac to school (need to get a key replaced, a laptop bag, and insurance first) it'll become all a bit easier though, as I can get some other "work" done during class.

I'm going back on Monday, the ENT doc even gave me a certificate. Nice. I'm not looking forward to going back, I didn't do any of that stupid holiday homework.

I've been back a few weeks too, and I wowed my Principal with a 94% on a U.S. government test . Tomorrow my class is going bowling .

I took a year off and now I'm kind of afraid to go back to school.(Post secondary)

I don't know what to take, and I'm not even sure I have the grades that are required for some of the things i'm interested in.

But then again the school system here has the lowest requirements so I can probably get in. Haha.
