Backup ALL your SAFE and IMPORTANT files on a disc, this could be the end, that way if your computer dies, you'll have all your good stuff still with you

It's no coincidence, some companies make those scanners to "find" spyware which isn't really there, to make you buy their software. Just download AVG.

| | | I agree with mcfugg. Get the free version of AVG. In addition, get Spybot Search and Destroy, also free. They are both good protection, and I know spybot removes stuff. Plus, you should look for updates of the spybot program every week to keep your computer clean.

| | I have AVG + Spybot Search & Destroy and my computer is always clean, so maybe try and save you pc with those (but don't let them update when you've installed them). Otherwise, back-up safe files and format :(
