This subject interested me recently due to some Religious Education lessons we have been having at school about Myth and Mystery. We have been looking at two cases of U.F.O and alien sightings. The evidence is interesting to study as is the proof of either a hoax or a logical explanation.

Case 1:

1997 - 21:34 Police Emergancy Control center in America starting recieving numerous calls of a strange sighting. Most described it as a "silent hovering object". It was flashing between four colours; blue to red to green to yellow. The weird thing that makes it all the more believable is that the 18,000 calls that they recieved that night all described the same thing there or thereabouts - all the descriptions fitted.
Two police officers were in a burger bar (supposed to be on night patrol) when the station called them and asked one of the officers to go and follow the place where the people were saying they saw the apparent U.F.O. As he was driving, a petrified old man was with his dog and told the officer that a bliinding red light had been focused on his house for about 2 minutes. When he looked outside - he saw the exact same thing that everybody else had seen. The officer continued down the road. About a quarter of a mile down, his car stopped. His radio cut off, his ignition key wouldn't switch the engine on and his petrol was half full. About 10 seconds later, a beaming red light hit his car and focused on it for about 30 seconds. He got out and looked directly up. He stated his eyes were strained. But what he saw was a large saucer shaped object flashing between four colours. It was silent and a light was focusing straight down on his car. When it went his car started up again and he drove off at full speed, sirens on and all chasing the object. When he looked at the object it appeared to elevate to about 90 feet in the air and join another thing that looked exactly the same. He called another officer to tell him what had happened. This officer was near a large church, a very high point in the area. He made his way to the top to find three of these flashing objects in a triangular shape rotating. A conversation was recorded between two completely different officers via car radio. all I can remember of that was one officer saying "A dear god let that be a plane". There is also a reconstruction of this on the internet which I unfortunately cannot find right now.

theres also multiople sighting acxross ilinois of a giant slow moving triangular object that would move slowly and then speed off quickly, it was seen all on the same night in many different areas of the state, all along a specific path, but it easily could have been a military plane. Unless there is absolute proof that it is something not of this world (pictures or video (even better), there is no reason to believe that it is made by aliens.

When people see something they don't expect their minds actually fill in the gaps to make sense of what is actually going on, espescially if someone offers their oppinion, or gives a suggestion that something actually happened their brain will use that knowledge as a base.

there are many ways to counter the first story (cop's car stalled under it's own fault, they already had been exposed to the stories of the townnsfolk, it could have been solar winds that caused the red/yellow/green/blue coloring and at night your brain can form what you think are objects) in fact it may be the town's own prank by a few members of the town, all they need is 2 officers and 1 or 2 townspeople, you can convince people that they saw it too if your by them and say "hey you see that". people like to be part of a group. its not hard to imagin the mass hyteria. It could easily be something a townsperson was using to make others thing it was going on to.

I used to have a ton of ufo related stuff on my comp, deleted most of it though, I needed the room. You can find some interesting stuff with google web and video searches. You tube has some interesting stuff too.

Who know what they have on military bases...
What's interesting is a lot of retired air force men will come forward and give a bunch of stories about UFO related stuff they saw years before they retired. Many of them were sworn to silence and some threatened to keep quiet. Its all pretty interesting.

actually i heard that astranots found some sort of life on mars (but it is unknow what it was) besides, its not impossible for things to be living somewhere other than eart.. the universe is giant-ormes<hehe

Actually it was a chunk of rock from Mars that fell to earth in antartica. They found fosilised bacteria in the rock.

But does it not cross your mind that all that to happen is highly unlikely? When the cop's car stalled it was when this thing was directly above him only about 50 or 60 feet at the most. It stopped directly above this guy's car and focused a red light on him! Doesn't sound like any kind of plane to me. Also it couldn't have been a helicopter because this thing was silent. Oh and it was about 30,000 calls that they got that night.

as i said before, when people see things they don't expect or understand their brain fills in the missing details. Rollo saw lights in the sky, people heard about it and jumped to the UFO conclusion because thats the only way they could make sense of the counterintuitive information.

You can stage a bank robbery and 10 min later talk to everyone in the room at the time and they will all give you different accounts, and most will give you details that didn't actually happen and you cant find on the video. its how our brains work.
