The Hazard in my name comes from Biohazard which I used for my gaming name for a while because I like the Biohazard symbol so much. To be decent, and not freak a few people out, I'm not going to go into where I got Mistress from.

My favorite NHL team used to be the Quebeque Nordiques, but they moved to Colorado and became the Avalanche in 1995, so my alliegence followed. In 1995 I also created my first hotmail email, so I chose my favorite team name, but the correct spelling was taken (avalanche) so I tried a common misspelling (avelanche) but that was also taken, so I tried another common misspelling (avelanch), and finally that was not taken so I've used that even since.

The funny thing is I no longer cheer for them because they went the way of Dallas and Detroit and New York Rangers and tried to buy a stanley cup by overrloading their team with superstars. I have no respect for teams that try to do that and in protest my alliecence switched to my second favorite team (Vancouver Canucks) in 2000. I have stuck with Vancouver ever since :).

Dispite my allegance change my online personna has been established as Avelanch and it shall remain that way forever. that way if i go into any or forum, or online game, etc. my electronic personality remains intact.
