Actually I'm a big fan of Tim Burton (the director of the movie). He mad a lot of my favourite movies like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Big Fish and Nightmare Before Christmas for example.
Anyway, some other movies that I like:
- Star Wars series
- Lord of the Rings trilogy
- Lost in Translation (go watch it!)
- Y tu mama tambien (a mexican roadmovie with a lot of sex, but the story has more layers, kind of like intellectually acceptable softporn )
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
- Pulp Fiction (but then again, who doesn't?)
- Kill Bill
- Donnie Darko
And for your convience I'll leave my Disney fetish out of this

| | | I saw Spider-Man 3 tonight. It is the most expensive movie ever, Ben, and it's worth every cent. If you enjoyed the first two this one will knock your socks off.

| | Okay, so just got back from Spiderman 3, and I liked it
In the beginning it seemed like there were way too many storylines (which is the main criticism afaik), but they all tied up in the end, so it was not a problem after all.
If you're a spidey fan I could reccommend this to you :)

| | | I loved Spiderman 3, but my friend didn't like it (he's the movie buff, but I reckon he's too critical). It was pretty random in some parts, and people complained that it was too long, but I loved that there were 3-4 storylines and multiple bad guys. It was an epic ending to the Spiderman trilogy (unless they've secretly planned a 4th). |

| | | They've not-so-secretly discussed a fourth, but neither Tobey Maguire nor Sam Raimi (director) have expressed interest. If those guys and Kirsten Dunst aren't involved they should let it go for the good of the universe.
