Perfect Dark was a better game, in my opinion, because it brought more gameplay and weapon options to the great GoldenEye engine. Xbox 360's Perfect Dark Zero could have done what you hope for, if you enjoyed the first Perfect Dark. Of course, I don't have a 360 so I don't know if Zero is any good.

from what i hear PDZ was only mediocre. and i loved PD, cept it slowed down too much, but PD is not a james bond game.

True, Bond has a certain air of effortless charisma which Joanna Dark cannot quite match. Shame to hear about PDZ, it could've been great *cough*ifnentendohaddoneit*cough*

I also prefer the 3rd person shooters when it comes to James Bond. I found the 1st person versions really awkward. Like when you had to turn round. Also, on The World Is Not Enough, I never managed to get past level 3, due to the fact skiing was so hard. I don't remember any difficulty level option either.

There was Easy, Normal and Hard on The World Is Not Enough (I think), but it was a tough game, especially City of Walkways II with that chopper you have to shoot down at the end.

I've played 6 bond games and own most of them.

Goldeneye
World is Not Enough
Agent Under Fire
NightFire
Rogue Agent
Everything or Nothing

Goldeneye was great for its time. I have a lot of good memories from playing that game. It was my first T rated game back then.
But I think TWINE had better multi-player overall, and it was a little bit more difficult but not too bad.
Agent Under fire just sucked imo.
Nightfire is really good although kind of short for me. And Everything or Nothing and Rogue Agent is okay.

I'd have to go with World is Not Enough for best multi-player in a Bond game.
But Goldeneye has a better story line.
I wished they would have made a Casino Royale game.

I'm not sure if the PS1 & PS2 versions are different somehow, but I searched for it, and on the PS1 version I couldn't find difficulty selections.

Also mrfinke, I don't remember multiplayer on TWINE. But yet again, that could be due to the fact I had the PS1 version. I definately need to get a James Bond PS2 game. Or maybe wait for a wii version.
