Restoring Formatted Digital Camera Pictures

I accidentally formatted ALL of the pictures on my dads digital camera Unless I find a way to reformat them, then I am toast...If anyone has any suggestions or help, please let me know.

If anyone does fix my problem, I'll give them 1,00 points or more just as long as its fixed :'(

Formatting a camera is like deleting the memory isn't it?

undelete?
if you formatted the memory card its gone, though if you go into the dos shell you can run undel, but im not sure if it would have the history of the memory card in there. undel should work unless you defragmented your hard drive recently.

*edit* nevermind, i just tried it on my comp and apparently thats no longer a recognised command my DOS skillz are out of date HAH

When you re-formated you deleted everything on the memory card. You can buy a program that will unformat and restore the deleted files. But I have personally never used one of those programs and they are not cheap either. :( You can find them on google.
I hope your dad doesnt make toast out of you.
