Had my first day of school as a senior (Year 11) today.

Firstly, 24 people have left, so it's nicer having a smaller year, that leaves about 80 people in Year 11.

I have about 4 "study periods" a week - so basically I can do what I want.
And on Wednesdays all seniors get off 1 period before the rest of the school, and on Thursdays we only have 4 periods, as we get to go home whilst everyone else has sport for the last 2 periods.

IPT (computing) is just awesome. A total of 6 (including me) students in the class and our teacher is really laid back, so we just sit and chat (about the work, but it doesn't feel like work).

So far this year is lookin' to be pretty good!

That's awesome! Sheesh 6 people? That's not a lot... But it can be fun sometimes to be in a smaller group...

It's awesome. It's just like sittin' around talking to friends about computers.

I'm dropping out and going to tafe.

Tweed heads schools are about as good as paper underwater.

I started Year 11 today too. I have small classes, the biggest is about 20 and the smallest is 8. We have to go to school half an hour earlier than the other years, but we get Wednesdays off.

Fair enuff. Only reason I'm staying in school is I'd be bored if I left. It's something to do whilst I grow my business in my spare time.

Your bloody lucky. I didn't get a free period until college. School started at 9.00 finished at 3.30 and all you had was one 15 minute break in the morning and an hour lunch. I hated being year 11 at school, by the time i got to year 11 all the year 7;s had become gobby little ****es who didn't know when to keep their mouths shut.

College is cool though. I took 5 subjects at college, maths, law, lamda, theatre and film, and i still had at least 1-2 free periods. If you think year 11 is good, wait til you get to college and everyone starts to treat you like an adult instead of being so patonising all the time.
