I am currently working on making a video game. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas. I would really appreciate all ideas, fantasies and suggestions that everyone has.

Have you any experience making a game?
Or are you just saying "I want to make a game" without any clue how to?

I have some experience. I am still learning the programming, but I know the basics of making a game and what I need.

im one of those people that "want to make a video game" but have no idea how too.........

I fear too many of you people are jumping the metaphorical gun.

Learn to make video games before attempting it.

i wish i could make a internet game, even a little zelda related one to put in the arcade.

I am still working on the game. Of course, it is going to take years to finish it, but I don't mind. All ideas are welcome.

Online or console? Have you thought about making a fantasy related game based on a popular band? That's an idea I had. Like metallica or H.I.M. A level based H.I.M. sidescroller where you collect heartagrams and fight dragons and whatnot to save a vampire princess would be awesome (and popular). Good luck.

start off with something like tetris, then pong... start off small. I've actually made a game myself.
