Hey there, was browsing over a few cheat sites when i discovered these forums and thought it would be a good idea to join in. I've been on about a million forums before, as well as running my own, so i know how forums work and won't be bugging staff every five seconds for 'problems' that don't exist.

I've never really been much of a nintendo fan. To be completely honest i think Nintendo are a little bit stale. Everything was brilliant back in the day of the nes, snes and early days of the N64. Since the invention of the Gamecube though (although it is a nice console) everything Nintendo have done is pretty much revisiting all of their old ideas or releasing mainstream crap games that everybody plays.

After saying that though, i am a huge Zelda fan! I played Ocarina of time back when it was released and i've been hooked ever since. Nintendo consoles are worth the money purely for the Zelda series alone. I'm totally loving Twilight princess! It takes everything from ocarina of time that i loved and adds all of the good parts of windwaker to it.

Anyways, speak to you all around the forums.

What do you think of the Wii? I pretty much agree with your "stale" comment, but now that the Wii and DS are both having immense success Nintendo seems to have generally learned from their past mistakes and are redeeming themselves.

his protest of how not newb he is seems a little suspicous. Me thinks he does protest to much. Not that any of us care how many forums you've been too or proboards you ran.

Yeah, their getting better with it. Some of the 'stale' ideas their using are actually managing to be retro instead of just monotonous and annoying. I don't actually have a Wii myself yet, but from all i've seen of it (when i played it in store ) it is a really cool console. I do actually quite like the DS. They've got some really good new game ideas. I loved 'under the knife', that was just brilliant and i've not played anything like it (with the exception or operation as a kid, lol, which is hardly the same).

Enough to know its rude to call a girl 'he' you moron! I refer to how many forums i've been on in the past purely so that i don't get al the typical goody 'wanna be staff memebers' explaining everything to me in an atempt to win a spot on the staff board. If you really don't care, why even bring it up?

Anyway welcome to the forums. About the "stale" comment, yes Gameqube was Nintendos biggest mistake but some of those Gameqube games are classics.

If you have been on about a million forums before you should know pointless rudeness shouldn't be replied to with pointless rudeness. There are a bunch of people that are rude to me and post senseless comments on my YouTube, I usually just ignore it.

Replying with the same thing is like protesting against someone who is senselessly violent by walking up to him and saying, "You think it's cool being violent? Well I'm gonna kick your #@! for that!" It seems kinda silly doesn't it?

Anyway welcome to the forum. If what I said came off as mean I didn't mean it that way. I'm a pretty nice person... most of the time, lol.

Wow. I haven't said that in a long while... Sigh, the days of being in the welcoming committee seems like it's becoming just a memory. XD

Anyways, TwilightPrincess.net isn't your average forums. A few people have joined, expecting things that aren't necessarily true.. For example, Elf Yakuza figured this was like any other Zelda fansite and that we were extreme Zelda enthusiasts that treat people unfairly if they are "blasphemous" to Zelda. Haha. We're nothing like that.. It's a nice friendly community where you can post whatever you want to.(of course many people on here join just to ask questions in the Hint's and Tips section, but there are some other topics that are fun to poke around in)

Yeah, that logic works well, but in my profile i did say that i'm a friendly person when treated with respect. Why should i offer any kind of courtesies to somebody who has spoken to me rudely? I do believe i hadn't provoked anybody into implying i was a liar and a newb.

I think i'll stay active here, i quite like these forums. Not the biggest one ever but i'm sure it'll grow. I've aleady been posting all over the forums with some useful and useless information.

Well Miyahon calls everyone a liar, he's called me a liar too in a thread about how to read Hylian I made. That's just Miyahon I guess, lol.

I think it's best not to get angry at people 'cause that way it's the person who you're angry at that's controlling your emotions, not you. If you know you're not a liar and a newb what does it matter what some other person thinks?

Oh and I like these forums too. There is some rudeness sometimes but it's way more friendly here than it is at some other Zelda forums I tried out. Oh and the people moderating the forum like Dave, Rollo etc. won't be gnawing into your back with their eyeballs popping out for some minor infraction of a 30-instalment rule book which is good, if you've been to some other forums like you said you probably have met some staff that think the Internet is serious business.
