Unhappy Stupid mistake in Temple of Time

I neglected to get the Imp Poe from behind the gates before I led the statue to the next bell. Is there any other way to open that gate?

Go ahead to the next room. The statue should be under the bell there. Then, just backtrack and the statue should follow you back to the original room.

It won't go backward, and it also can't go up the stairs. The only way from level 2 to level 3 is up the stairs. It's too late now anyway. He's back in his place by the door. It looks like I'm screwed.

Well, if I remember correctly, you will go back to the area where the poe is again. Part of what you are doing is to bring that statue back to the area that it is actually missing from. You should see the poe again on the way out. I believe if it is under the bell, it will be in the next room when you get there.

As Reelblind25 said there is a statue there that you can use the Dominion Rod to bring to life and walk the statue over to the switch. This will open the door. Go in and destroy the Poe and you may have to put the statue back on the switch to leave. The statue looks like one of those small statues that you used in the beginning of the game to put on the switch in the first room to bring up a platform to go forward. However if you have moved the Statue past this area you will never be able to break down the fence but the other way above will open the fence if you forget to break it with the statue. The same thing goes for the walls that you can break down with the statue that you normally would have to shoot a arrow at the switch to move. Any of them that you did not break you will simply have to use the arrow to make the walls move instead of just walking right past them.
