A person named Coro has the key. He will also sell you a bottle of Lantern Oil that you will need to get past the cobwebs.

To defeat the three dark squid things you have to press and hold B. A circle will start to form around you. Make sure all three of them are in the area at the same time, and you will jump from squid to squid and take all 3 out at once.

If pressing B does nothing, try talking to Medna, or whatever that little twerp's name is, she introduces you to the ability. She gave it to me after I tried killing the squid things and they kept coming back to life.

Does steady mean completely taught? Because here is what is happening when I do this . . .

-I cast the line
-The camera zooms into the bob
-I wait for the bob to sink with the top red line below the water
-It usually immediately bobs up on its own before I can react
-I try to very very gradually tilt the remote up until the line is more or less taught and it looks like it is twitching from the fish pulling it (though it could be just my hands are shaky)
-I try to hold still
-After several minutes of trying to hold perfectly still (a tough feat considering the remote is a wobbly thing by nature) with nothing happening, I try to make an adjustment, like pull the fish out of the water or something
-I estimate wrongly and the camera zooms out (which indicates I'm done fishing, I think? But the hook is still in the water, so maybe it can still be bitten by fish?)
-I start over

I have no idea how people can enjoy this, yet in every magazine review they rave over the great fishing. I just want it to be over so I can play the action/adventure game I paid for.

Ok, I finally figured it out by reading another forum. When the bob goes underwater, you jerk up really fast, throwing steadiness to the wind. Then it says "Fish on!" and you hold down a+b to reel it in (I don't believe the last part is in the manual either so who knows how people are getting past this part of the game?).

Do you actually need to hold down a+b? Cuz I know I was having a hell of a time trying to fish and not being able to figure it out, asking owensito for help and stuff...

In the end, I did get it. It's actually really really easy once you get the hang of it. Just like, whenever you see the bob go down past the green mark, pull up on your line. It'll be automatic. Fish comes up every time.

Ok I'm an idiot, I am in the first dungeon, all the way to the boss door but can not open it.
I think the key for that is behind that double gate with the four windmills infront of it, but can not get the bugger open, any help, started to get annoyed running all over that place.
