Despite the advances of many bachlorettes in the series (including the none-too-subtle approach taken by Princess Ruto), our verdant hero remains seemingly oblivious to it all. (Honestly, who can resist the unbridled charm of a naked fish girl claiming to be your wife?)

I'm going to point out, once again, that Nintendo has said that they want us to envisino ourselves as Link. Whether or not he acknowledges advances are purely up to the player, since Link shows little emotion himself do to his lack of a voice.

No, Zelda and Link are not related. Never have been, and most likely never will be. This old rumor was started by the quote from ALttP, in which Link's uncle's dying words are, "Zelda is your..." Many people wanted to believe that he was going to say, "Zelda is your sister," but this rumor was put to rest because the quote was a mistranslation. He actually says, "Zelda is your destiny," in the Japanese version, and this was later added to the back of the box in the GBA port.

As far as Link having a relationship, that is the beauty of TLoZ. You = Link, and Link = You. Nintendo provides love interests for each Link (Zelda, Nabooru, Ruto, Marin, Ilia, Midna, etc. etc), but ultimately, it is you who decides whether Link has a relationship with any of them.

Way to trash some of my happiest childhood memories. :/ Despite its cheesiness, I loved (and still love) that old cartoon. Much of the older Zelda fans' fandom is partially built on it. Besides, it was obvious they both liked each other. X3 Despite their behavior, they were SO cute!
