Questions about Ganon *Possible Spoilers*

Just some Ganon related questions. Some I may have missed when playing through the games, some may not even have an answer. Here goes.

1.First of all, if he is banished to the Dark Realm (from what I've gathered) when Link defeats him how does he keep spreading darkness from game to game? Is he able to still cause darkness from within the Dark Realm?

2. If the Master Sword is what keeps him in the Dark Realm, why does Link keep pulling out the Master Sword? Didn't Ganon say in OoT it was Link pulling out the Master Sword that loosed him from the Dark Realm? Wouldn't then pulling out the Master Sword cause more harm then good? Do you think maybe Ganon has a puppet we don't know about? I know he has Zant in TP but maybe there is one we don't know about for the other games that he uses to do his "dirty work" until Link pulls out the Master Sword? Phantom Ganons perhaps? Maybe Zant had an unannounced part in the other games too? If that isn't the case then what's even the point of Link pulling the Master Sword?

I love the Zelda games, but I kinda find the cycle of kill Ganon, he comes back, repeat, a little annoying and confusing.

Well, the games are all, like, ages apart. After Ganon's been banished to the Dark Realm (again), he has no choice but to sit in the same sh!thole for ages on end, testing every bond and barrier that binds him in said Dark Realm, looking for weaknesses to push a little bit of his awesome mind through, then manipulating or intimidating others into helping him or corrupting things like the many Temples to get Link to retreive the Master Sword. It's a trick to get himself free; either Link takes the Sword and takes the chance he can't eventually beat Ganon(dorf) and/or the Temple bosses, or he let's the corruption of the Temples get so bad even 'normal' folk get corrupted and teh world ends. Either way, Ganon gets what he wants.

In all honesty, I've only played four Zelda games thus far, in two of which Ganondorf was more slain than banished (WW and TP), in one Ganondorf didn't even make an appearance (MM) and one in which he actually got banned (OoT). And, as you might've guessed, I think Ganondorf is awesome. So I think I'll play some more.

If you're a Ganon fan in the same way some people are an Emperor Palpatine fan you can see him pull the Zant trick in Link to the Past.

Well the whole idea of Link to the Past was Ganon using Agahnim to get him out of the Dark Realm by sacrificing a bunch of chicks. Once Link killed Agahnim his purpose had been served and Ganon could try to kill Link. Of course, he doesn't unless you sucked at Zelda as a child.

So are you saying he's like Palpatine because he used everybody?

I suppose so, like in OoT when his "defeats" led to him being able to access the Triforce. It's all part of the plan.

Anybody think he was finished for good in WW (supposedly along with Phantom Hourglass the latest part in the Zelda Timeline)? I think we'll see him back again. I think there is a good chance the very next Zelda especially of it is on the Wii might not have him as the final boss, but my guess is he will be in another Zelda by the time the first Zelda on Nintendo's next console comes out.

Like I said, Ganondorf gets what he wants - either the temples/Hyrule get corrupted, or he gets set free when Link pulls the Master Sword.

He'll be there (eventually). Not all the new Zelda games have to be after WW, after all. And if they're after WW, maybe there'll be some psycho wizard that also wants the destruction of the world or Ganon's power that decides to scuba search Ganondorf's statue to stone-to-flesh his ass.
