Navi is ok UNTIL you want to do something not in the main storyline... then her "Hey! Listen!" gets quite annoying... O_O

Even if it is your first time playing the game. Some things that Navi tells you, you would already know even if you haven't beat the game yet. Like Visiting the Deku Tree at the beginning of the game.

Perhaps the frequency of the little fairy's interference changes from game to game. When I was questing to get Epona and the Knife, she would start yelling at me every ten minutes about the stupid cloud over Death Mountain.

Navi: "Hey! Look at that cloud over Death Mountain! There is something strange about it!"

Me: "No, Navi, there isn't. That glowing red halo of pure evil is perfectly normal for a volcano overtaken by an ancient revived dragon who is going to eat all but one Goron. You should know this by now. Now shut your little face and let me get this horse and giant sword."

Navi: "But..."

Me: "Shut it!"

Navi wasn't annoying. That was blown way out of proportion. I actually found her to be helpful the first time through. The second time through, she wasn't even that annoying. Tatl was a lot more annoying with that ringing sound she made every fifteen seconds.

Navi > Ciela.

Navi is helpful, when you need her. If I want to talk to Navi, I'll just play Saria's Song and not talk to Saria and talk to her when she asks when I don't know where it is I need to be going. Other then that, yea she is pretty annoying.

well for me I have beat the game more times than I can count.

Well for me I have beat the game more times than I can count. And I never die anymore. I might die some trying to do the three heart quest. I haven't tried that in a while because I was doing a bunch of youtube videos. And now the game doesn't work anymore. But after playing TP as much as I have and noticing how much health you get in every boss battle and everything I would have to say TP is easier than OOT. In OOT you don't get as much health for boss battles. Heck a lot of boss battles have a fairy hidden somewhere to refill 8 hearts.

I think they may just seem easier because you have already figured out how the game works. If you get a new weapon in a dungeon, you're gonna be using it to kill the boss and progress through every single phase of that dungeon. With the exception of the boomerang, bombs, and hookshot, that's about all every weapon is good for: that one dungeon and boss. And it's fairly easy to figure out what you are supposed to do with each weapon when you see the boss. The games just seem easy because the formula never really changes; just how it's presented:

Get Item. Use item to get to boss. Use item to kill boss. Throw the item into a storage closet and never see it again. Go to new dungeon. Get new Item. Use item to get to new boss. Kill new boss with new item. Mix and repeat. Though I do have to say Stallard and the spinner made for a fun boss fight: as did the double claw shots and that dragon.

I agree, the defeating of the dungeons and their respective bosses was a pretty repetitive process, as you said. Most of the Zelda games do follow a similiar pattern, imo.

I hated that damned dragon.
