Yeah, I know that Zelda discussion goes elsewhere, but all the other forums are about video games! Move the thread if you see fit.

The Zelda TV series, which aired on the Super Mario Brothers Super Show, is undeniably one of the best cartoons to ever air during the 80's. I'm actually being serious; I think it's a pretty good show, even though I find if more funny than thrilling. To demonstrate its greatness, I'm going to outline the plotline that most of the episodes followed.

I) Intro
A) See dope ass introduction movie with Link slaughtering Stalfos
B) Get to see Zelda fall in a river and Link says, "Well excuse me Princess!"
II) Body
A) Link and Zelda hanging around the castle. In most cases Link tries to
get Zelda to kiss him. He either fails, or succeeds but is interrupted
before Zelda kisses him.
B) You hear of Gannon's plans. He's either really cocky or really pissed
off.
C) Gannon attacks Link and Zelda.
D) Link and Zelda attempt to defeat Gannon.
E) "Well excuse me princess!" is said again by this point.
F) Gannon is defeated.
III) Conclusion
A) You see Gannon rave about how he's going to get Link back.
B) Link and Zelda back at the castle. Link tried to kiss Zelda again. He
either fails or succeeds but is interrupted before Zelda can kiss him.

OMG! I have this series (along with both Vol. of SMBSS) and it is by far one of the best animated cartoons of the 80's. I love the cornyess of Link. Was not a big fan of Caption N. Can't wait for Super Mario Bros. 3 to come out on DVD. It is suppost to be out sometime in June. Super Mario World (if it comes out, problems with the use of Yoshi) was a classic.

I have the video of the Zelda cartoons. I dont really remember much (i was about 4 and i was eating a HUGE slice of watermelon the last time i was watching it) except for the classic line, and Link having brown hair. I know that we still have the videos... somewhere... ill fish them out... eventually...

There's a seperate Board Dave made and he posted all thirteen episodes on there, even though it's a bit blurry. Each of the thirteen episodes has it's own thread. So, each episode tells an individual story? That works out well!
