Hey guys!
Which of these systems is better in your opinion and why?

Here are some of my reasons,It has a lot of games availible for all age types,I also find that it has many great RPG/Adventure games which are pretty popular.

It's products usually have a higher capacity for graphics,Meaning that it's pretty to look at and therefore more interesting to play,Hurray!

I sold my Wii,then bought a PS2 that's about 7 years older then the Wii...because of better graphics and a wider selection of games too.This isn't a good reason but "Oh well".

Proof? What is there to prove?

The reason you might like a console or its features might not be what someone wants from it.

I personally always preferred Nintendo for their quality games and especially Zelda... And their consoles do what they have to do, play games.

I don't care about extra features and such. I mainly look for great games with good characters, story, gameplay and some nice graphics (though this isn't as important as the rest).

PS2 was quite great for having many RPGs and I did use the DVD player but I believe Sony seems to find it more important to push new media on the gamers than having great games or revolutionary consoles in terms of gameplay (take the PSP and PS3 as examples).

I think Nintendo stays true to what playing games is about-having fun-and to me, it's all that matters. The Wii may have introduced some extras I don't care about (like internet and photo channel) but it has changed gameplay for even better, even more fun.

You can disagree but there isn't any 'proof' that could change my opinion.

I'm an all around gamer, all three consoles are extremely appearing to me, Ps3 was the least appealing - I didn't buy one. As xbox was least appealing last generation of consoles.

I would have to say the Sony. Not cause nintendo isnt cool, but they are just effing around the 3rd party titles for the wii aren't good. They have lost a lot of core gamers over the last year i bet to xbox and ps3. and in my case WOW

Well they're both good company's, and both out beat the 360. Honestly I wouldn't be able to stand having a system that breaks down every once in awhile, and having to deal with there bad customer service. Alot of my friends have 360s but they always break down at least twice. One of my friends had to wait four months, for them to fix his 360. My Wii only took two weeks, and no one that I know of that has had there PS3 break down.

But anyways back to the debate about Nintendo and Sony, I like Nintendo for their games, and I like Sony for their hardware. But at the moment as a hardcore Nintendo fan, they're really letting me down this generation. But hopefully next gen, with all their money, they better make a system that is awesome. Barely any good third party games come to the Wii, only good first party games. But Sony on the other hand has a great list of games from third party and first party. They have games that are bit more for the hardcore, or average gamer. Nintendo should make a console that is worth being played on a LCD TV, in other words, worth being in HD. Seriously though, the Wii is only a little bit more stronger than the PS2, it needs to be at least as strong or stronger than the 360 and PS3. Then maybe Nintendo will start getting good third party games, and most developers won't be a**'s to Nintendo's console.


But back in the 90's N64>>>> PS1.

It's because Nintendo got their hooks into the lucrative casual gamer market first. Sony wanted to steal their thunder by messing with their controller to make it somewhat motion-sensing. Microsoft are like 'whoa, what the hell?' and are now trying to grab the casual gamers too.

and sony just kinda sucks ass now while nintendo and micosoft get better game-wise while they just make good graphics bullcrap and wii and 360 games are mostly awesome.
why is the ps3 so appealing to teens im confused.

yeah, i never found the appeal for the PS3/PSP. Horray, i can have realistic graphics on a crappy game, isn't that so cool??? oh and watch blue ray movies... on a gaming console...
