just got my PS2,and wanted to know which game is better and why?,Final Fantasy 12 or Final Fantasy 7irge of Cererus. If there are any other FF games for PS2 that are better/cheaper do tell! ☺

Well, Dirge of Cerberus is supposedly crap and not that much of a traditional FF game to begin with.
Personally I didn't like FF12 that much either, but that's just my opinion apparently cause a lot of people do like it a lot.
I don't know if you've already got/played FF10, but that's my personal favourite when it comes to the ps2 final fantasies. I personaly think you would like it a lot since you're into japanese pop culture etc. It's a little more of a traditional jrpg than FF12 which is more like an MMORPG for one person.
You might also like Kingdom Hearts btw, if you're into both Disney and Final Fantasy.

Personally FF10 is the best PS2 FF. Dirge of Cerberus is a shooter/RPG -_-' Though I like Vincent Valentine, not my type of game. FF12... Oh geez... My bf has it and I couldn't get into it. Not sure why I find it to be very boring and the reviews were just overhyped imo (seems to happen more and more).
I'd suggest to play the older FF games (my fav is FF9 on PS), if you never played them, otherwise, the RPG selection on your other PS2 game suggestion thread will be fine. :3

Yeah,I decided to stick with FF7irge of Cererus and FF10...I think I'm going to be set for games...For a long time now.
