| | | This Is Kinda Weird Imo So my brother came home yesterday with a used xbox and a crap load of games. He got it all for free (either from his friend or the same way he got our nintendo 360, getting it from a customer at gamestop where he worked who didn't want it)
and then I heard mailduck and my dad talking about how he was probably gonna turn all the stuff in for store credit, and all together, the xbox and the (I think 30) used games he can get enough money to buy one Wii game... is that true? And is that even fair? I think it's pretty lame... |

| | | Well alot of xbox, ps2 , and GC games are only worth around 5 or 10 bucks sadly. Thats why I don't sell my games anymore just because you pretty much get nothin' for them. spend 60 dollars for a game and then a year later you can only get maybe $20 for it...

| | | Yeah that is true, but I think I've convinced dad to keep it. Hopefully he will, because all of that for one Wii game is not worth it.

| | | e-bay people!! e-bay!!!
quit selling your games back to gamestop / eb games so they can turn around and rip us off on used stuff while making a huge profit!
I would have easily given him $50-$100 on ebay for an xbox and 30 plus games.

| | | Oh I wish I'd seen this on time. Selling games back to gamestop is a major rip-off. You can get so much more through e-bay, or even half.com. |

| | | Yeah but the problem is, my brother is extremely lazy like me. He already works at Gamestop, so wouldn't it be so much more convenient to drop them off while at work?... *Sigh*

Then turn around and sell it for over twice what the store credit that they gave you for it. And that was back before the Wii came out. Now it will probably get you 5 or 10 dollars store credit. One time I was about to get store credit on something and the price of the store credit was so low I didn't want to do it. I ended up geting I think it was a something for Dreamcast from someone else who also thought the price of the store credit was too low. If that ever happens again. I highly suggest selling all of it on ebay. You could have ended up with over $1,000 dollars or close to it for all those games and the XBOX 360. Possibly more.
