So far nintendo just gave us phantom hourglass but what are the other games coming out that are like it? i ask everybody here, do you think any other game will use the touch screen more fleuintly, and did the touch screen control really make it easier? im asking you now, do you think that the next game nintendo makes will fall down a pit because it doesent match up or do you think that nintendo will make a better game for the D.S.

It depends heavily on the other elements of the game. I belief the touch screen and wii-motes are still a bit of an experiment for game designers. It may take a few tries to get everything dialed in, despite as long as both have been on the market. I feel Advance Wars made good use of the touch screen, even though it didn't play the same role that it did in PH.

True. The other elements to a game like story are also important so i agree with you. Does anybody think a new type of gamestyle is going to be introduced in nintendos next game?or same quickscroling action?

Using the touch screen instead of the buttons was a little annoying. When I was trying to defeat a boss I kept dying because when I was trying to attack but it wouldn't react. Buttons, I think, would have been better. The new games are a little undone. The newer ones aren't that good because of the new skills like the wii- mote and the touch screen. It's hard finding a good game for the wii cause the games are lame.

Yes thats exactly it i kept trying to use buttons on PH and it kept bringing up my sea chart or map so yes the touchscreen is a bit annoying to always use.

all i know is that Fire Emblem DS better use the touch screen, and the next FE for the Wii better use the pointer.

The DS has a few other good games other than PH. Such as the New Super Mario Bros, Yoshi Island DS, and Sonic Rush. But yeah I think nitendo's whole Pet thing should be stopped. They are making way to many crappy pet games. The whole Dog and Cat things were ok. But now they have games like horses, Hampsters, and even babies. Babies are not pet's they are people. What's Next? Pet ant farm, Pet Snake. Or maybe Pet rock?! Seriously these crappy games are not going to sell very well. If they are selling well now that is bound to change if Nintendo keeps putting out random pet games with random pets that people may or may not like. Oh and I think there is a gerbil game too. And some games come out with sequels and stuff like Dogs and Dogs 2. How much more crap like this is Nintendo going to come out with? The Dog and Cat were ok. But Nintendo is taking this pet obsession to far.

Right, who wants to sit around all day takin care of a VIRTUAL pet or human, it makes no sense that a compony like nintendo should take on the form of an obsession with pet games. (and yes hamsterz is what you were thinking of) i am with you in many ways a good company like nintendo should not be making crappy pet games here and there to make a quick buck.

My sister bought a dog game for gameboy and I tried it out and it's a crappy game. The whole dogs, cats, hamsters, and horses is just ridiculous. The people that are buying them just feed the crappy fire. Not good.
