Do you believe that graphics are the most important aspect developers should focus on or not? Many make the claim that good graphics=good game and wouldn't by a game with mediocre visuals.

I myself look for good story, good music, and good scenery. I am willing to forgive just about any other shortcomings if these three elements are satisfactory. I loved FFX because of the good story, awesome soundtrack, and cool environments.

I like having a good story, but if the game doesn't have at least moderately good graphics then I can't play it. I think that one of the most important parts of a game is its battle system. After all, no matter how good a game is graphics and storywise it can still really suck if you have to play it with a bad battle system.

I want a game that's easy to learn, but hard to master. It needs creative, intuitive controls and the graphics, while not stellar, should be decent. Good music is a plus and, depending on the genre, a good story may be surplus or necessary. So essentially, I want first-party Nintendo games.

Gamplay is the major factor in what makes a good game, but poor graphics, a bad story or awful music can detract from the gameplay, so all must be in balance.
