Guitar Hero 3 Lag

Does anyone else notice how bad the lag is in GH3 for the Wii?

I've heard that it's best to play on a standard def TV. But I've also heard that some people got it to work perfectly, even on their HDTV... I'm planning on getting it, but i'm not sure anymore.

Anyone have tips on how to beat Raining Blood - Slayer on Hard? I can get to 36-38% before failing. This is the only song left till I play Lou. Thanks in advance.

I'm only just getting into playing on hard mode, sorry. And it's not lag, I've read some reviews. Well, there WAS lag, but it turns out it was from the HD tv, and calibrating in the options menu really did fix it perfectly. Turns out... that the game is just way nicer and it's more forgiving of less than perfect gameplay, which leads to the actual gameplay feeling just slightly.. flimsier.. even if everything else is more solid.

It's an amazing sequel.. but now I know why I'm doing so much better than I did in GH2.. It's easy to do better when the game gives more leeway.

It took me a long time to beat that song too. But if you can get star power and use it right when you get in the red on the hammer-ons you can usually barely pull yourself out, I also found it easier to just go for the Orange,Blue,Yellow hammer-on sequence and it seemed to counter-act the one that you miss after that. So try doing that and see if it works, because it worked pretty well for me especially if you use the star-power at the right time.

P.S. The battle with Lou is REALLY hard, I still havnt managed to get him into the yellow even.
