| | | What old game do you feel deserves a remake?
by remake, i mean graphics completely redone, being on a next gen system, sound being redone (orchestrated rather than midi), same basic game but with added features, etc.
So what game do you feel? I think Chrono Trigger should be. Could you imagine that game with high definition 3D visuals, and orchestrated music? perhaps add in things to tie it in to chrono cross better? voiceovers anyone? (though everyone would complain, but still want them)

needs better graphics (like all other GBC games)
more minigames (not just fishing)
more chain chomps (they're very cute) :p

The First Sonic Adventure game for Sega Genesis. I realize that on Sonic Adventure 2 if you get enough Emblems that you can play the first level of the first stage in redone graphics. But if the graphics for the entire game were redone it would be awesome.

Abe is not pleased. Graphics-smaphics. Those games are great the way they are and I don't really feel like dishing out more money to buy them again. Besides, I believe too many retro remakes is a sign of digression of the industry.
That being said, they still have their place, and I would like to see some remakes of some of the harder to find Saturn/Neo Geo games. Also, unreleased (but nearly completed) and Japan-only games come to mind (ie Propeller Arena, and Sin and Punishment respectively). |
